Aakash Aerospace is officially recognised as a DGCA Authorised Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO), marking a significant milestone in our training and certification journey.

This authorisation enables us to deliver structured, compliant, and industry-aligned remote pilot training programs in accordance with DGCA regulations. Our RPTO framework ensures:

MOU SIGNING WITH SASURIE COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING – OCTOBER 01, 2025

Aakash Aerospace is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sasurie College of Engineering, strengthening our commitment to industry–academia collaboration.

As part of this partnership, our team was invited to serve as the Innovation Review Panel for INTERNAL TECHNOVA 2025, where we witnessed a wide range of innovative student projects and emerging technological ideas.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT BY BIGBODHI ACADEMY – SEPTEMBER 05,2025

Aakash Aerospace hosted students from Bigbodhi Academy for an industrial visit at our in-house aerospace manufacturing facility.

During the visit, students gained practical exposure to:

  • Drone design concepts and system architecture
  • Electronics integration and propulsion systems
  • Manufacturing machinery and workshop practices
  • Overview of multiple drone platforms and applications
  • Live drone flight demonstrations

This industrial interaction provided students with valuable insights into real-world aerospace workflows, reinforcing the connection between classroom knowledge and industry implementation.

DRONE TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOP AT INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY MADRAS – MAY 2025

Aakash Aerospace successfully conducted a comprehensive Drone Technology Workshop at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), bringing together students and aspiring professionals to explore real-world UAV technologies.

The workshop covered both theoretical and practical aspects of drone systems, including:

  • Hands-on flight training with professional UAV platforms
  • RealFlight simulation-based pilot training
  • Fundamentals of drone design, assembly, and operations
  • Immersive FPV (First Person View) flying experience

The program was designed to bridge academic learning with industry practices, equipping participants with essential skills required in the evolving aerospace and drone ecosystem.

ONE-DAY DRONE & RC AIRCRAFT WORKSHOP – MECHNOTRON 2K25 COIMBATORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, MARCH 29, 2025

We partnered with CIT’s Mechanical Engineering department during Mechnotron 2K25 to host a hands-on Drone & RC Aircraft Workshop. By blending theory, assembly, simulation, and flight, participants gained a deep dive into UAV design and piloting.

GLIDE & GUIDE – FIXED-WING WORKSHOP AT KCT FOR YUGAM 2025 – MARCH 4, 2025

Workshop Success!

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our Glide & Guide – Basic Fixed-Wing Workshop at Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) for YUGAM 2025. The workshop was conducted for the Aeromodelling Club and featured a perfect blend of theory and hands-on training.

Highlights from the workshop:

Theoretical Session: Covered aerodynamics, airframe construction, flight dynamics, and mission planning.

Hands-On Session: Participants designed, built, and tested their own chuck gliders. Expert Guidance: Led by Mr. Aswin E, Ms. Subhiksha P, and Ms. Shreya Vardni K. Certificate of Completion: Recognizing participants’ dedication and learning.

MOU SIGNING WITH EXCEL ENGINEERING COLLEGE – FEBRUARY 24, 2025

Strategic Partnership Established!

We are delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, Excel Engineering College (Autonomous), on February 24, 2025. The MOU was signed by Dr. K. Bomman Raja (Principal, Excel Engineering College) and Mr. K. Saravanan (Founder & CEO, Aakash Aerospace).

Through this partnership, we aim to:

Provide student placements and in-plant training at Aakash Aerospace. Offer executive training programs for students and staff.

Conduct joint research and consultancy projects. Deliver guest lectures and industrial exposure sessions.

This partnership will foster innovation, knowledge sharing, and enhanced industry-academic collaboration.

SUCCESSFUL VTOL TEST FLIGHT AT KSR COLLEGE GROUND - FEBRUARY 13

On February 13, our experts Yogamaniraj A S, Sivasankar A, and Jagan J Raj conducted a successful VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) test flight at KSR College Ground. The test flight demonstrated the stability, efficiency, and seamless transition of the VTOL aircraft from vertical takeoff to forward flight. This achievement marks a significant milestone in our aerospace innovations, reaffirming our commitment to advancing drone technology.

ANTI-DRONE DEMONSTRATION BY CRPF FORCE - SEPTEMBER 20

A highly informative anti-drone demonstration was organized at our industry premises, led by the CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force). The session showcased cutting-edge counter-drone strategies and technologies, including real-time threat simulations, jamming systems, and detection radars. This event provided valuable insights into mitigating drone threats, strengthening our expertise in security measures and operational protocols.

BSF SOLDIERS HANDS-ON TRAINING ON SURVEILLANCE DRONES - SEPTEMBER 16

Our team members, Yogamaniraj A S and Sivasankar A, successfully conducted an intensive hands-on training session for BSF (Border Security Force) soldiers in Dehradun,Delhi. This training focused on equipping BSF personnel with advanced skills in surveillance drone operation, flight mechanics, real-time applications, and maintenance techniques. The interactive session enabled soldiers to enhance their technical proficiency, ensuring effective deployment of drones in field operations

VISIT BY COL. MANIK ANAND, PLANNING OFFICER (AS), MINISTRY OF DEFENCE – SEPTEMBER 14, 2024

Aakash Aerospace had the privilege of welcoming Col. Manik Anand, Planning Officer (AS), Ministry of Defence, to our industry facility on September 14, 2024.

The visit included an overview of our UAV platforms, training infrastructure, and operational capabilities. Discussions focused on indigenous drone development, training standards, and the growing role of industry participation in supporting defence and strategic requirements.

This interaction highlights the relevance of industry–government collaboration in advancing self-reliance and strengthening national capabilities in aerospace and drone technologies.

VISIT BY DR. MYLSWAMY ANNADURAI TO AAKASH AEROSPACE – NOVEMBER 12, 2024

Aakash Aerospace was honoured to host Dr. Mylswamy Annadurai, renowned space scientist and former Project Director of ISRO’s Chandrayaan missions, at our industry facility.

During his visit, Dr. Annadurai interacted with the team and reviewed our ongoing initiatives in drone technology, aerospace training, and indigenous system development.
